The Christus Catholic Trust are seeking to appoint:

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Permanent contract

35 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 08:45am until 3.15pm - term time only

Salary - Band 4 (CCT Thurrock Academies Pay Scale) - Salary Range -Point 12 - 20 (£19,330 - £23,625)

Start date: 1st December 2020 or sooner if possible

Location: St Mary's Catholic Primary, Tilbury

St Mary's is a single form entry school located in the heart of a diverse community.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, dedicated and an outstanding practitioner to join our team. The post involves working across the school supporting teaching staff through planning, preparing and delivering lessons and intervention programmes, to facilitate non-contact time and short term cover for teachers together with accelerated progress for pupils.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

· Have experience working alongside children with SEND and planning/delivering lessons and interventions.

· Be able to liaise with the class teacher and others who will support you in your role.

St Mary's Catholic Primary School and The Christus Catholic Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks.
