SEN Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and hard-working individual to join our Learning Support team. The position will require elements of working 1:1 with children with additional needs as well as supporting learning in small group and whole class settings.

The successful candidate will:

· Hold an A-C grade in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent).

· Have a positive attitude and a 'can do' approach to working with children, especially those with additional needs.

· Be able to work patiently and creatively with children on a tailored or individual curriculum.

· Be able to work as part of a wider team including with other Learning Support Assistants, Teachers and the SEND team.

· Be flexible and use their initiative when the unexpected may happen!

Experience working with children with higher level additional needs is desired but not essential.

This role is Monday-Friday, mornings only, 17:30 per week.
