Temporary (Maternity Leave Cover)

The team, children, governors and community of St George's Infant School and Nursery are seeking a temporary Inclusion Leader to lead an ambitious professional team in the pursuit of excellent learning in our happy, vibrant, rapidly improving infant school. This position is offered to cover maternity leave and is required as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:

· Be of the highest integrity; an elite colleague who leads by example.

· Provide excellent support as SENCO, being qualified with QTS and NASENCO.

· Be accountable for outcomes for the vulnerable students and low achievers.

· Be an active and effective member of the Senior Leadership Team.

· Liaise with colleagues, families and external agencies.

· Work with our team of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.

The school will provide:

Information about the School

St George’s Infant School and Nursery is a three-form entry school serving the local community of New Town Colchester. We are a very cohesive and inclusive school and we aim to ensure that every member of our school community is equally valued.

We have good links with local community groups and work closely with our partner junior school, with whom we aim to amalgamate during 2020-2021. We are also part of the Tiptree and Stanway Consortium of schools.
