An exciting opportunity has become available to join our hardworking Learning support team. We are looking for a committed and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to work 25 hours per week to support a new pupil joining our FoundationStage. These hours will be across 5 days, initially we are asking for flexibility of hours to support the pupil with their transition into school (which could include a partial timetable) the organisation of the hours may need to change due to the needs of the pupil and when they attend school for more hours each day. This position will involve some intimate care and support with toileting.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with children with ASD.
- Have experience of working in the Foundation Stage.
- Recognise the importance of and be committed to home/school partnerships.
- Be able to work effectively as a team and value teamwork.
- Be able to use their own initiative.
- Have a good sense of humour!
- Be enthusiastic and consistent with your approach.
