An exciting new job opportunity within our Student Support Department to co-ordinate a range of services to meet the increasing needs of our student body. The College is looking to appoint 2 Student Support Co-coordinators to support a new provision being delivered by NELFT and also working with existing partners to enable effective delivery of any external opportunities.
The post-holders will work within the busy Student Support Team and will need to be highly organised, confident, able to demonstrate ability in working in a challenging environment and receptive to building on their skills to deliver a positive experience for our students.
These jobs are being offered as part of the government's "Kickstart" scheme, aimed at creating new high-quality jobs to help 16-24-year-old unemployed people on Universal Credit take on new jobs. This will consist of a minimum of 25 hours work per week, paid at the National Minimum Wage (NMW) on a 6 month contract. Kickstart participants will be provided with training and support towards finding a permanent job to boost their prospects as professionals.
