We are recruiting a Curriculum Support Administrator to help maintain the high quality of teaching and learning at Endeavour Co-operative Academy.

Endeavour Co-operative Academy is in an exciting phase of development at present, as we continue to expand & are in the process of a whole site rebuild in partnership with DfE Rebuilding Schools Project.

The Curriculum Support Administrator will work in partnership with the school office team to support classroom staff in their day to day duties to provide education for pupils with moderate learning difficulties in line with the codes of practice and school policies and procedures.

The following pre-employment checks will be required where applicable to the role and setting:

- receipt of satisfactory references

- a satisfactory DBS disclosure if undertaking Regulated Activity

- verification of medical fitness for the particular role
- verification of qualifications and of professional status where required e.g. QTS status
- the production of evidence of the right to work in the UK
- verification of successful completion of/exemption from statutory induction period
- verification that you are not subject to a section 128 direction preventing you from holding a management position within a school (if applicable)
- a declaration that you are not disqualified from working with children by virtue of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2018 or that you have provided a valid disqualification waiver from Ofsted

In line with recommended practice in the statutory guidance "Keeping Children Safe in Education", the school will conduct searches for information on shortlisted candidates which is publicly available on-line. The purpose is limited:

- to identify issues which call into question the applicant's suitability to work with children;
- to verify employment history.

Information about the School

Endeavour Co-operative Academy is a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.

It is an exciting time for the school, construction of the new building commenced in January 2024 and is due to be completed by September 2025 - January 2026.
