We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, dedicated and capable LSA to work with a child 1-1 with physical and learning difficulties needs. The post will be on a fixed term contract.
You will need to be:
Experience of working with pupils, including physical and sensory needs, particularly those with special educational needs
Help to organise resources and the classroom to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
Calm, positive and patient
Consistent and approachable, setting firm boundaries
Able to work on your own initiative but also within a team
Able to listen to and take guidance from colleagues, specialist teacher and other professionals
Able to build positive relationships with the children and their families
Motivate pupils
Work with the SENCO, teachers and other LSAs to plan and coordinate work
Manual handling training will be given to the successful candidate
