An exciting new opportunity has arisen to support a child in our new Reception Class from September 2020. The child has specific medical and mobility needs and has a number of Health Care Plans.


Are you calm, kind, flexible and dedicated to supporting the individual needs of one of our children?


Are you prepared to undertake a range of training and to attend to the personal care of this child?


Do you hold a HLTA qualification?


If so, this is the job for you!


We are looking for somebody, who is prepared to undertake a range of training, to support the complex needs of the child. Knowledge of working with hoists and experience of working with children with complex medical and mobility needs will be a distinct advantage, however full training will be given.
You will be expected to attend to the personal toilet care of the child. The medical and mobility needs of the child will be a substantial part of your daily interaction with the child. You will also need to carry out learning activities in the child's home, as well as in school, so will need regular access to a car and hold a valid driving licence.


This role is Monday to Friday from 8.30 am until 3.30pm with 30 minutes break for lunch and will be a 'Named Child Contract'.
