SEN LSA
22 hours per week, term time only (paid for 43.1 weeks)
Monday - Friday, fixed term until July 2020
Point 3 £9178 per annum - FTE £18065 + £609 outer fringe
We are seeking a very special person who is dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated to work alongside our leadership team to provide support for a child with additional needs. This position is for a fixed period as it is linked to funding that will help the school support a Year 1 child. You will help the child to access the curriculum, manage their behaviour and feelings and develop social and communication skills.
You will be able to work within the nurturing ethos of our school, be flexible and resilient. You will be a strong team player with great communication skills and above all be passionate and committed to the development of the children within our school.
You will have some experience working with children with SEND and preferably have some knowledge of Makaton. You will be able to liaise effectively with school staff, families and outside agencies.
