About the team

The Adult Learning Team at Harlow College provide a range of short duration vocational and employability skills programmes to unemployed adults across Essex, Kent, Suffolk and Hertfordshire as well as English and maths Functional Skills in Harlow. We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to lead and manage the provision of this successful curriculum area.

About the role

This full time, permanent post will be responsible for managing the operational running of the curriculum offer and liaising with external stakeholders to develop an effective and innovative adult skills provision that meets the needs of learners and employers. You will lead the day to day teaching and assessment of qualifications whilst managing a team of peripatetic Tutors.

What we are looking for

With previous experience of working in an education or training setting you will have a good understanding of ESFA Adult Education Budget funding rules with a good grasp of curriculum planning and management and a proven track record of achieving excellent results for learners.
