We are looking for three new members of staff to join our learning support assistant team to support children to gain as much as they can from all of the learning opportunities offered to them. Our learning support assistants have the opportunity to work throughout our school, including in our nursery and in our specialist speech and language provision class. Further information about each of the above posts is contained in the attached candidate letter. If you are passionate about learning and teaching and able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice we would love to hear from you. The successful applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to work on his/her own initiative as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Powers Hall Infant School is in the process of converting to an academy as part of North Essex Multi-Academy Trust (NEMAT).

Information about the School
Powers Hall Infant School is a three form entry infant school in Witham. The school benefits from a 36 place nursery where all children attend for 5 mornings each week (15 hours) and some stay for some or all afternoons (up to a further 15 hours). The school also has a 10 place specialist speech and language provision for children who are identified as needing this specialist support. Children are taught in single age classes and their learning is facilitated by their teachers around themes that the children have chosen. The school is well resourced and there is an interactive projector and whiteboard in every classroom. There are two mobile laptop suites for the children to use and all teachers are given a laptop and an android tablet for their use while employed at this school. The school is committed to the professional development of all staff and encourages everyone to attend both local and national training to meet their needs.
