Part-Time Site Assistant

Start Date - ASAP

Part Time - 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Working Pattern - 7.00am - 1.30pm, Monday to Friday

(plus, some additional lettings and late lock-ups for school events)

Band 2 SCP 11 - 14

(Actual pay £14,647 - £15,239 per annum)

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled Site Assistant starting June/July 2019.

The successful applicant will be flexible and proactive in their work with good general maintenance, caretaking and DIY skills and very much a "can-do" approach. Duties will include locking and unlocking of the school premises (including some evening lettings and lock-ups after school events) and so as a primary key-holder the supervision of site security and attending call-outs will also be required.

Carrying out first line repairs and maintenance (which are not beyond the scope and capability of the post-holder including; basic electrical, plumbing, redecoration etc.), porterage, maintaining supplies of materials, and liaison with external contractors are all key elements to this challenging and eventful role.
