Ingrave Johnstone C of E Primary School requires a self- motivated, reliable, multi-skilled, proactive and organised Site Manager to join our team. Hours are 27.5 per week, Monday to Friday on a split shift basis, 7am to 9.30am, and 3pm to 6pm 52 weeks.

We are a small and friendly village school. We pride ourselves on our recent Ofsted inspection stating we are a Good School 'The school ensures that pupils are safe and well cared for at all times. Their conduct throughout the day is excellent.' This is an opportunity to be a valued member of a whole school community.

Duties will include:

  • Security and supervision of the school site
  • Caretaking and general maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Supervision of external contractors
  • Manual tasks as required (e.g. moving furniture, cleaning etc)
  • Management of all Health & Safety within the school


Previous Site Management experience would be ideal, but not essential as full training will be given. A cheerful, flexible approach, the ability to prioritise and good DIY skills are essential.
