Teaching Assistant for KS2 required

Start Date: Immediately Contracted hours 28 hours

A vacancy has arisen within our small primary school for an experienced Teaching Assistant, working alongside the class teacher. Have you previously worked in upper KS2? Do you have high expectations? Are you dedicated to meeting the needs of all the pupils in your care? Do you want to make a difference?

If the answers are yes then Hinguar Primary School and Nursery is the school for you!

Experience will be an important consideration, alongside a caring and patient approach to supporting children. We will also be looking at the candidate's ability to work with small groups of children. We embrace inclusion supporting children with a range of individual needs and have high expectations for children's attainment and behaviour.

You will:

· be honest, reliable and hardworking

· be flexible, empathetic and adaptable

· demonstrate positive, consistent behaviour management in line with the School's policy

· preferably have experience working within KS2 alongside children with special educational needs

· be educated to GCSE Grade A-C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and achieved NVQ Level 2 in learning support.

· Desirable to have HLTA experiences or qualification.
