SENCO
Perryfields Junior School has a vacancy for a part-time SENCo to work two days per week starting 1st January 2019 or as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on developing exemplary provision for SEND children and interventions across our school, working as a member of the leadership team.
You will need to be:
- highly professional;
- a good team player;
- resilient;
- an effective communicator with all stakeholders and multi-agencies;
- responsive and adaptable and able to follow through on all tasks;
- pro-active;
- organized;
- emotionally intelligent.
The successful candidate would be employed as a teacher under the STPCD and will hold specific duties in the role of SENCo.
You will need to line manage LSA teams and lead interventions across the schools, working closely with the Assistant Headteachers. You will be the lead role model on the teaching of interventions and will need to be prepared to teach our most vulnerable children if the SEND and intervention needs of the schools require this.
