Due to the retirement of our current Site Manager at the end of May, we have an exciting opportunity available to the right candidate for Site Management responsibility as well as taking on additional intervention duties which would involve working with a small group of Key Stage 2 children to help re-build their self-esteem and restore their enthusiasm for school. Site Management and the additional intervention work with children would attract the higher salary at Band 3 range £18293.51 to £20124.63 which is £9.68 to £10.65 per hour.

We would equally be very interested to hear from you if your skills and enthusiasm are focussed towards Site Management only because you have a high level of general domestic and DIY skills. The Site Manager salary range would be £17322.60 to £17947.67 which is £9.17 to £9.50 per hour.

Details:

Monday to Friday

36.25 hours per week

Daily:

7.30am - 10.15am (2hr 45 min break) then 1pm - 5.30pm

Permanent Role - 52 weeks per year

20 days holiday plus statutory public holidays

Salary - depending on experience and responsibilities - Band 2 or Band 3

Start Date: Start date to be confirmed according to candidate's current work notice period with aim for week commencing 14th May which would allow for a two week handover with the departing Site Manager.

We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, very organised and adaptable person. You will have:

-Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
-Be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure with excellent time management skills
-Have the ability to use your own initiative and work independently
-Have a positive and proactive approach to multi-tasking
-Have a working knowledge of IT such as email and using word, excel and powerpoint
-Be able to manage an effective cleaning team
-Understand the need to maintain complete confidentiality
-Have experience of working as a caretaker or site manager, ideally within a school although not essential if you have the right skills
