SEAX Trust has the opportunity to appoint

a Learning Mentor

to work One-to-One with a KS4 Student who has Moderate Learning Difficulties & Other Complex Needs.

Post to be based at THRIFTWOOD COLLEGE, Fox Crescent, Chelmsford, CM1-2BN

1 Fixed Term Contract to 31st August 2020

Post: LGS Band 2 Point 13 (range 11-16)

One post of 30.58 hours per week or Job Share/2 Posts considered to equal 30.58hpw: Working pattern to be confirmed
39 school working weeks per annum to include Inset Days


Required as soon as possible

Actual Salary: £11,867 (pro-rata)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Mentor to work as a one-to-one support for a Key Stage 4 student with moderate learning difficulties and other complex medical needs.

The role is hard work and challenging, but the rewards are immense; we offer a supporting team and high quality professional development to enhance your skills and confidence in working with children with Special Educational Needs.
