Roding Valley High School is seeking to appoint a catering assistant. The position is for 5 days per week, term time only for 4 hours per day. Previous experience of catering or kitchen work is desirable although training is available for the right candidate. A commitment to high standards of cleanliness, the ability to work with heavy equipment and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
Roding Valley is an 11-18 school in Loughton, Essex, that enjoys a good reputation in the local area and which benefits from excellent transport links to the school, including being adjacent to Loughton tube station on the Central Line. The school was judged to be 'Good' with 'Outstanding' student behaviour by OFSTED in March 2013.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
