SEN part-time Learning Support Assistant based at GROW unit (Newlands Spring Primary School)

Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri 8:45am - 2:45pm

Wed 8:45am- 1.00pm

LGS Band 2

(Term time only)

We are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and caring person to support a Key Stage 2 childwith special educational needs. The child is based at the GROW unit which is part of Newlands Spring Primary School in Chelmsford. Previous experience of supporting children in a class, group or 1:1 basis in a school setting is desirable.

The successful candidate should have the following:

A commitment to high achievement from pupils and themselves
Excellent organisation and inter-personal skills
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
Flexibility and a good sense of humour
Good knowledge of ICT
The ability to use their own initiative
