We are looking to appoint two caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to provide 1:1 support for two children in EYFS with Special Education Needs/disabilities, including medical needs.
Whilst previous experience is desirable, the successful candidates will receive medical and speech and language training including Makaton.
They will be required to:
- Work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher, the SENCO and outside agencies such as the specialist teaching team and speech and language therapy
- Support both children with their individual needs, helping them to achieve the targets outlined in their EHCPs
- Show initiative and flexibility
- Have the ability to build effective relationships with staff, parents and children
