This post is to work in EYFS as a 1:1 support for a child with specific learning difficulties. Due to the nature of the job and the fact that the child will need constant support, the post will be a jobshare with each person working 16.25 hrs per week. The post is linked to the child and is initially for one year.

We are looking for a caring, supportive person who also shows initiative. We would expect you to be a positive person with excellent communication skills; good teamwork is essential and you will need to be motivated to encourage children to achieve the best of their ability.

You will be expected to:

assess the progress of EYFS children
help create a positive learning environment
undertake specialist SEND training as required
work closely with classroom staff and the SENCO
liaise with external advisors and parents
