SEN Learning Support Assistant Required: Immediate start - 31st August 2015 Term time only Band 2: To Midpoint - starting at point 11
We are looking to appoint an LSA to support a delightful Reception child who has significant learning difficulties. The position is part time, 20 hours per on a fixed term contract attached to this child. Suitable applicants will need to be able to work as part of a team following a structured programme of learning. Applicants should be organised and show initiative and flexibility, be patient and understand the very confidential nature of this role. The successful candidate must have GCSE English and Maths at grades A-C or an equivalent qualification. Preferably the successful candidate will also be NVQ level 3 qualified. Experience would be an advantage but is not as important to us as a caring attitude and commitment to the role. In addition the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work alongside the staff of St Nicholas Primary School as both schools embark on an exciting partnership arrangement together. We are a small, successful and friendly Church of England Primary school in Canewdon that firmly believes that every child has amazing potential and that we need to work together to give all children the best possible education and care. Canewdon Endowed CofE (VC) Primary School is part of a federation of two schools.
