The Governors of Baynards Primary School are seeking to recruit an inspirational Head Teacher to lead our successful small village school.
Baynards Primary School is in Tiptree, has just over 90 pupils and, following a recent OFSTED inspection, is rated GOOD, very much as a result of hard work and commitment by our current Head Teacher and all the staff. Our current Head Teacher has been appointed to a position in a larger School in the County and the Governors are keen to appoint someone who will continue to provide strategic leadership for the School, inspiring pupils and staff to achieve goals and to build on our already solid foundations.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational and financial skills, and the ability to relate well to children, inspiring them to progress to higher levels of achievement. The Governors place great value on the quality of teaching, learning and assessment throughout the School and look for the highest quality of everything the School does with the emphasis on educating the whole child and achieving the best for all within the School community.
The new Head Teacher will be supported by a strong Governing Body who have an effective involvement across the School. The School has a talented and committed staff, supportive parents and an effective Parents Association. The School has very good relationships within the wider community in Tiptree.
The role is suitable for an applicant who might currently hold a senior position in a School or be an experienced Deputy or Assistant Head Teacher seeking their first Headship.
