Learning Support Assistant Band: 4 (Scale 13-18) Required: December 2013. 25 hours per week -term time only (Temporary Fixed Term Contract) We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team in December 2013. You must be able to work 5 days a week and be flexible with the hours of work that you do. The successful candidate will work in our Phase 2 Learning Space supporting a child on a 1:1 basis with global development delay and communication needs. The post will require you to hold a recognised relevant Level 2 qualification.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An energetic and positive approach to learning with a love of the outdoors.
  • Experience of working with children in a primary school setting.
  • The ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents.
  • Be able to support and enhance pupils' independence skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative.
