Title of Post: Safeguarding Manager - Designated Safeguard Lead

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Scale 9 - £29,863 - £33,504 per annum

Contract Type: Full Time

Hours: 37 per week

Weeks: 46.5 (Term time plus 2 weeks)

Contract Term: Permanent

Role

We wish to appoint an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead, to implement robust safeguarding and child protection policies, procedures and practices. You will manage the safeguarding team to ensure that an effective and robust safeguarding service is provided. The post holder will provide professional advice and support on safeguarding matters to staff and students, as well as liaising and meeting with external bodies, and delivering training.

You will have a proven track record within your career, one that demonstrates significantimpact over time in safeguarding children and young people, and you will be looking forward tothe chance to make a real difference, both personally and professionally to our school. You will also have experience of managing a team where safeguarding is the main focus area of your work.
