We are looking to recruit a reliable and conscientious Assistant Cook to join our busy team.
Duties will include assisting the Chef in the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages to the required standard, contributing to the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment and deputising for the Chef as required.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check by the DBS. All applications must be submitted on the support staff application form and accompanied by a covering letter, addressed to the Executive Principal.

Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
