Holly Trees Primary School is a two form entry primary school situated in Brentwood. We are a welcoming, well resourced school, with a friendly and committed team of staff and well behaved pupils who want to learn. We are looking for an experienced person to join our friendly learning support team. The position would involve supporting children within the classroom and assisting the class teacher with general duties.
We are looking to appoint someone who possesses the following skills:
- Has an NVQ 2 / 3 qualification in Primary Education and have at least Maths and Literacy GCSE at grade C or above.
- Is an excellent team player.
- Has a calm, patient personality, who is highly organised and flexible.
- Someone who has the ability to engage and motivate pupils and can differentiate learning for SEND pupils where necessary.
- Has excellent communication skills;
- Is creative, enthusiastic, energetic and a real team player;
- Shows a clear commitment to the safeguarding of all children.

Vacancy is for 8.40 am - 1.10pm Monday to Friday, term time only. There may be the possibility of full time for the right candidate.
Initially this post is for a period of ONE YEAR on a FIXED TERM contract
