Learning Support Assistant
Salary: Point 5 FTE £19,404, pro rata 32.5 hours per week, term time plus inset £13,630.54
Katherines Primary Academy are looking for a full time Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team in January 2020. The appointment is for a fixed term contract of two Academic Terms (January to July 2020), but subject to service needs may be extended.
Katherines Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our school on a permanent basis. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working with children. Ideal candidates would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applications must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Learning Support Assistants (LSA) would work alongside, and individually from class teachers.
Harlow NET Academies offer a unique chance to be part of a friendly and supportive team. Being part of a primary cluster of five schools, staff work in teams to share the responsibility for planning. We have a number of specialist teachers who work across our cluster who offer teachers expert knowledge in Maths, English, PE, Drama, Art and Music.

We are a thriving Primary School in a small estate in Harlow and a school that the staff, children, parents and myself are incredibly proud of. Since coming into post, as Head of School in September 2017, I, along with my dedicated team, ensure that children's well being and voice are at the heart of what we do. We are extremely proud of our academic results, above National Standards in all subjects, for the last two consecutive years. We believe that every child’s learning and development is as individual as they, at Katherines Primary Academy children GROW in our care.
