Cleaner-in Charge with Caretaking Duties
20hrs per week
Monday to Friday 7 - 8am and 3 - 6pm (with some flexibility considered)
52 weeks a year
To carry out cleaning in all areas of the school.
Experience and basic knowledge of COSHH preferred but not essential. Training and on-going support will be available as part of our commitment to staff development.
We are looking to appoint a care taker/cleaner to join our friendly school.
The post is available for an immediate start and offered on a permanent contract subject to satisfactory references, current Disclosure and Barring Check.
The position involves ensuring the inside and outside environments are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements:
- cleaning of classrooms, cloakrooms, toilet facilities, communal areas, staffroom
- management of premises including outside areas such as the playground
- security of the buildings and site
- storage of cleaning materials
- basic DIY

The successful applicant must be willing to accommodate changes in routine as required and have high standards with regards to cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices.
