SEN Keyworker - Task Related Contract

Band 2 Point 11-14 (starting point depending on experience)

30 hours per week, term time only. Actual salary £10,393 - £11,251

We are seeking to recruit somebody who will be able support two children within our school. One child has Down Syndrome and requires support with:

Learning
Communication
Independence
Social skills
Physical skills
Sensory needs

Experience and/or training in these areas would be preferred. Knowledge of Makaton signing would also be an advantage.

The second child has Autistic Spectrum Disorder and requires support with:

Independence
Social skills
Learning and following class rules and routines
Close liaison with home and attendance at termly reviews are essential for both children, and effective working with other professionals in a 'team around' approach is also important.
