Learning Support Assistant
Salary LGS Band 2 Point 11-16 (depending on experience)
Actual salary £9,003 to £10,046

Glenwood School is a thriving community special school providing for learners aged 3 - 19 years with complex learning difficulties (SLD, PMLD, ASD) N.O.R 130. Many learners require high levels of support, which may include personal and health care needs and or behaviour which challenges others.This is an opportunity to join a supportive and committed staff team. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is positive, enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about valuing individuals.
Please note the post holder's duties will also involve supporting young people in all aspects of personal care both on the school site and when out in the community.

The post is for 26.5 hours per week, term time only. Working hours will be either 9:00 - 15:00 or 9:30 - 15:30, which will be set by the school. Applicants must be able to work either work pattern. One additional hour is required each month 15:30 - 16:30 for a staff meeting (Usually 1st Wednesday of the month).
Visits to the school are expected as part of the application process.
Interviews will be held on Monday 2nd November.
