We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner with a commitment to continuing professional development to join our RS/Citizenship department as Key Stage 3 Coordinator. This role includes accountability for outcomes, provision and the quality of teaching and learning at KS3 and is overseen by the Head of Department. There is also the possibility of a whole-school responsibility for a suitable candidate.
The successful candidate will be required to teach RS up to and including GCSE and Citizenship in at least Years 7 to 9. A-level RS could be available for a suitably experienced applicant. Both GCSE RS and GCSE Citizenship are offered at KS4. A-levels in RS and Sociology are options at KS5. The RS/Citizenship department is very well organised and resourced. Staff work closely together and are constantly striving for further improvement.
