We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to raising standards, to join our hardworking team of teachers and support staff from September 2015.
Our small, caring and friendly village school (known locally as "the Tardis" - it's bigger on the inside!) would welcome either an experienced teacher or an ambitious and enthusiastic NQT. Exciting development opportunities will be available as we are a school on the NAHT ASPIRE Programme, plus the possibility of a TLR being offered to the successful candidate for a subject leadership area.

- high expectations of behaviour and achievement;
- excellent classroom practice;
- energy, enthusiasm and a passion for children and committed to inclusion;
- a current knowledge and experience of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

Information about the School
Southminster C of E Primary School is located about 3 miles from Burnham on Crouch and 10 miles southeast from Maldon. St Leonard's Church is located in the centre of the town and lies close to Southminster C of E Primary School. The school enjoys a close relationship with the church. At Southminster School we all work together to recognise individual needs and support every child. We firmly believe that collective worship is an integral part of our community and through it, our children develop spiritually, morally and socially. Our class teachers are supported by an experienced team of Teaching Assistants who also take on additional responsibilities within the school together with an efficient and dedicated team of administrative staff.
