We are seeking to appoint an HR Assistant to join our Business Team at Columbus.Main responsibilities of the role are: • Receiving communication from absent personnel and recording the details.• Arranging cover for absent staff by contacting supply staff to cover. • Communicating and recording details for Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Learning. • To support the Assistant HR Manager in all aspects of recruitment, including the management and monitoring of the Single Central Record. • To input payroll transactions to Payroll provider including new starters, leavers and changes to contracts. (Knowledge of e-payroll desirable but training will be provided). • To input and update various HR databases (Knowledge of Sims.net desirable, but training will be provided).

This is a fixed term position required as soon as possible to cover Maternity Leave.
