We have a strong Performing Arts faculty. In the summer of 2014, 68% of our students achieved 5 A*to C including English and Maths and we are predicting that 75% of our students will achieve this in August 2015.
We are now looking to appoint a teacher of Drama.

This is an exciting time for the school as we are opening a Sixth Form in September 2015 so experience of teaching Sixth Form will be an advantage.
The successful candidate will develop innovative approaches to classroom practice that will secure outstanding outcomes in Drama for our students. The role will also allow you to help shape the future direction and curriculum of Performing Arts at the school.

Roding Valley is currently an 11-16 school but we will have a Sixth Form from September 2015. We are in Loughton, Essex and we are located next to Loughton tube station which is on the Central Line. The school was judged as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' student behaviour in March 2013 and we are confidently aiming for a grade of 'Outstanding' at our next inspection.

Roding Valley High School is a successful 11-18 school in Loughton and is part of The Chelmsford Learning Partnership. Currently catering for around 1400 pupils, this school boasts an excellent local reputation and fantastic facilities which provide an excellent working and learning environment. The school was graded “good” with outstanding features at the last Ofsted.
