Cover Supervisor
Salary Band 3, Pts 17-21 (pro rata £13,000-£14,500) 30 hrs per week term time only
Applications are invited from candidates with good communication skills and the ability to develop firm but supportive relationships with young people. We particularly welcome applications from those aspiring to become teachers who require classroom experience before commencing training courses. Duties will include:
v supervising lessons for absent colleagues
v working with small groups of students to enhance their academic and social skills
v lunchtime and break time supervision
v examination invigilation.
A comprehensive programme of training in classroom management and teaching skills will support successful candidates.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working effectively with all members of the school community.
