Salary Range: Band 3: fte £26,182- £28,440 per annum. Actual starting salary: £22,456 (with performance based yearly increments)

Working weeks: 39 Weeks (Term Time)and Parent/Open Evening as required
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs and 08:00 - 15:30 Fri)

Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2025 in the first instance.

Student Development Assistant's (SDA's)provide the support that is required to enable barriers to learning to be overcome and to enable all pupils to maximise their enjoyment and learning from their time in the Academy.This is a unique opportunity to join a successful academy as part of a supportive and very hard-working pastoral team.

The appointed Student Development Assistant will support the Year Group Teaching Lead (currently for our year 8cohort at the Lower Academy) and will have responsibility for daily matters such as consistency checks, on-call, uniform, attendance and attitude to learning, as well as supporting teachers in ensuring pupils engage with their learning in order to meet their targets.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm that will inspire students to outstanding outcomes.

We are an aspirational academy operating across two sites. The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our Key Stage 3 students, whilst the Upper Academy specialises in teaching Key Stage 4 and 5.
