Southview School is a special needs school for students with Physical and Neurological Impairments together with learning disabilities. We are a highly supportive school, friendly, positive and committed to doing our very best to enable our children to achieve all they can. We recognise that our team is essential in achieving this. We are seeking a suitably qualified Early Years Practitioner to work in our newly created Early Years Hub, led by two Senior Early Years Practitioners. You must be positive and motivated towards meeting our children's unique special needs in a creative, imaginative (and sometimes messy!) way. You will need plenty of enthusiasm, energy and resilience to contribute to our existing fantastic team.
We would prefer someone with some SEN experience, but we will appoint the right person with the personality and qualities we value; the experience will follow! You will need a good work ethic and the desire and ability to learn fast.
Start Date - September 2024.

Salary: Scale 6 Point 13 £26,873 - actual salary £21,793.10, rising to (subject to satisfactory performance) Scale 6 Point 17 £28,770 - actual salary £23,331.50.
Standard working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm (7 hours per day/25 hours per week). Term time plus one week (39 week per year).
