Governance Professional & Policy Advisor
Salary range: £42,403-£45,441
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours per week: 37, Monday to Thursday 0830-1630, Friday 0830-1600
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to lead our Governance team, supported by an Assistant and two Clerks.
This role is accountable for all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust, ensuring governance adheres to good practice and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. This is achieved by:
- supporting the efficient and effective operation of the Trust board and its committees.
- ensuring governance at all levels is carrying out its functions.
- leading on development of the Trust's governance framework and driving improvements to its systems, processes, and structures.
- managing and coordinating the delivery and ongoing improvement of governance support across the Trust.
- responsible for all Trust Policies and liaising with Local Governing Committee's regarding local policy.
This is a rewarding and challenging role that has wide responsibility and be part of the Senior Leadership Team with Bridge Academy Trust.
This role will be based at the Bridge Academy Trust, Brian Close, Chelmsford however travel to other sites may be required.
