Our successful college at Stansted Airport opened in September 2018. The College is a partnership between London Stansted Airport and Harlow College - the first of its kind at any airport in the country. The centre has purpose built, industry standard facilities providing training for over 500 young people per year, located at the end of the runway at Stansted Airport. We work closely with employers and partners around the airport to ensure that our students have the best possible experiences and are able to secure employment following their education.

What we are looking for?

We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven individual to take up the role of Learning Co-ordinator, working within our Stansted Airport College Engineering team to ensure the smooth running of our full time and apprenticeship provision and to play a key role in the strategic development of the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have some experience or knowledge in the below:

TLA and Quality Assurance
Knowledge of awarding bodies
Effective communication and collaboration with students and employers
Organisation skills, attention to detail and flexibility in approach
· Knowledge of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) procedures in relation to the development of licensed engineering programmes and accreditation

If you are able to teach in any of the following areas it would be ideal, however if you do not have this experience it should not deter you from applying!

o Aviation/airworthiness engineering

o Physics

o Avionics

o Maths
