Pre-school Assistant- 23hrs per week
JOB DESCRIPTION
Jubilee Friends Pre-school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and caring individual to work 23 hours pw, spead over 5 days, for the Summer Term 2023.
You will be required to work within our very small team to develop and build on our current practice, in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

The preschool opening hours are Monday - Friday 9am-3pm , 38 weeks per year.
The position is 23 hours per week, although you will need to be flexible to cover additional hours as and when required
Applicants should meet the following criteria
preferably have an appropriate Early Years qualification, Level 2 or above
Have excellent communication skills
Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward all aspects of EYFS and child development
Enjoy motivating and helping children to grow and learn
Have the ability to work independently and as part of a small team, supporting children and the preschool staff at all times
Be able to plan and implement high quality experiences to support children's learning
Support and differentiate play and activities, in order to be fully inclusive of ALL children
ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO SAFER RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS and will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

Jubilee Friends Pre-school is a small independent TERM TIME ONLY group, registered since September 2009. We offer pre-school care and education for children aged predominantly 2 - 4 years. We mainly, but not exclusively, provide a service for the families of Galleywood, Chelmsford and surrounding areas, Our setting is open for 30 hours per week, we accept 2 year FEEE and 30 hour extended funding. We are a diverse and very inclusive setting and, as a group, we have a passion for supporting our families and the wider community.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
