We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with young people to join our already established Family Inclusion team. You will be an enthusiastic and talented individual to provide medical support to students at school.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the medical room, keeping up to date records of students with medical conditions, and overseeing first aid and medical needs throughout the school day.

It would be desirable for applicants to have some prior experience of first aid in particular paediatrics, although training will be given for the right candidate. Some working knowledge of administering medication would also be desirable.
This role includes the undertaking of various administration duties including the organising, management and upkeep of records and student medical files, communicating with parents, staff, students and external agencies, and an excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate will also need to understand the importance and significance of safeguarding and confidentiality. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a positive approach to working independently and as part of a team.

Here at Castledon School we pride ourselves on our excellent high standards and performance. Whilst experience within an education setting would be useful, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

We can offer you:

A dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly and experienced hardworking team of staff
The opportunity to develop within a highly effective multi academy trust
Free Benenden Medical Healthcare cover
Local Government Pension Scheme
A school that is committed to continued professional development
