FIRST AID OFFICER

LGPS Scale 3, Points 5-6

Actual salary £17,083 to £17,361 including Outer London fringe

32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm. Term time only, 38 weeks.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide efficient first aid for all students in this large mixed secondary school,

The ideal candidate will be able to:

· Respond calmly and quickly to emergency situations

· Deal with non-emergency medical issues

· Liaise with parents and outside agencies

· Manage the programme of vaccinations for students

Applicants must either hold the First Aid at Work qualification or be willing to undertake it as soon as possible (refresher training will be provided as required). Experience of working in a school environment or in a supervisory role with young people will be an advantage.

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
