Vacancy for an Inclusion Leader and SENDCO (Part-time)
Ø 3 days per week
Ø Either MPS + SEND TLR or UPS + SEND TLR (depending on experience and qualifications)
To start: May 2024
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated SENDCO and Inclusion Leader who will have overall responsibility for the strategic development of the school's Special Educational Needs provision, including the coordination and management of the day to day operational needs. The successful candidate will:
· Be a qualified primary school teacher
· Have the accredited SENCO qualification (desirable but not essential)
· Have experience of working as a SENCO (desirable but not essential)
· Be able to build strong relationships with children and their families
· Be able to liaise successfully with outside agencies
· Have high expectations of all pupils
· Be an excellent communicator and team player
· Have good organisational skills
· Work with disadvantaged pupils
· Line manager to members of staff
· Be a member of the SLT
