Attain Academy Partnership is a leading educational institution dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences to our students. As a Catering Manager at Newlands Spring Primary and Nursery School, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our students receive nutritious and delicious meals that fuel their minds and bodies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional requirements of students, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Oversee the ordering and inventory management of food and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of food quality and service.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and students to gather feedback and continuously improve the catering service.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent culinary skills and creativity in menu planning.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles.

We offer a competitive salary on Scale 6 or 7 (dependent on experience) for this part-time position of 27.5 hours per week term time plus 5 additional days during closure periods.
