Midday Assistant
Required May 2024 (or as soon as possible)
West Horndon Primary School are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant.
The post is 12:00pm - 1:45pm Monday to Friday
8.45 paid hours per week (term time only) 38 weeks
Gross Actual Annual Salary £4632.55 inc Outer Fringe
West Horndon Primary is a small, professional and welcoming school.
The main duties include:
Help setting the hall up for lunch.
Helping children in the dining hall
Dealing with spliiages etc
Putting up/taking down the dining room tables (some physical strength is needed for this)
Assist with clearing up in the kitchen.
Being able to work confidentially.
We are interested in candidates who enjoy working with children, who can act on their own initiative and as part of a team. Also be able to work confidentially.
The position will be offered subject to a satisfactory DBS check and two references.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.

West Horndon Primary School is a welcoming, warm and friendly primary school. We are located just outside Brentwood in Essex. We also have a 20 pupil Enhanced Provision for children with speech and language difficulties.
