Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. -3.20p.m.
Initially this job is being offered on a fixed term basis until the end of the summer term 2025.
We are inviting applications for the post of Learning Support Assistant, to commence as soon as possible to help our friendly teaching staff in this happy, well-resourced, expanding school, rated 'Good' in all areas.
This post is to provide support for a children with additional needs, who have an Education and Health Care plan (EHCP) in place. Some of the children are working below the level for a reception child, so knowledge of working with nursery age children would be an advantage, but not essential as training would be provided.
We are looking for a someone who:
Has experience working with children with high needs in order to support them to reach their full potential.
Is confident to support children with SEMH challenges
Provides good evidence that their knowledge and abilities are closely matched to the person specification.
Is positive and flexible with a warm and friendly manner with children, parents and colleagues.
Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Can use their initiative
Enjoys taking an active role in the work and development of the school.
Is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children.

Successful candidates will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a close team. We offer LSA training and candidates also need to demonstrate a desire to further their knowledge through training.
