Job Overview:

The post holder will be responsible for entering data into the information systems ensuring the accuracy and credibility of learner records. Will assist and support the preparing of timely data returns whilst working flexibly within the wider MIS team and to ensure effective services are provided in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • To maintain and monitor the accuracy and credibility of learner records data across all information systems to allow for robust business intelligence reporting and funding compliance.
  • Maintain efficient and accurate data recording practices in support of internal information systems processes throughout the academic year such as;
  • Assist with cleansing ILR data as directed identified using validation rules and tools such as FIS and PDSAT and internal monitoring processes.
  • Work with external data systems to collate data required to assist with the maintenance of learner records and funding requirements
  • Provide data to external agencies i.e. Local Authorities
  • To work with the Head of MIS and the team to maintain an understanding of funding methodology and audit, including learner ILR requirements, Ofsted data practices and Quality processes.
  • Maintain a schedule of self-directed monitoring through existing system reports and to highlight opportunities to promote and make improvements to quality assurance practices in all work areas as appropriate.


Job Requirements:

  • Computer related qualification or training
  • Excel data management including summary data such as pivot tables
