Job Overview:

This post is to provide an effective and efficient level of administrative support, demonstrated and delivered by working collaboratively and flexibly within the central Administration function.

The post requires someone with experience of working in a fast paced office environment undertaking a busy role so needs a "can do" attitude. You will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and how to apply if effectively, specifically Word and PowerPoint.

You will need the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team where you can demonstrate an effective contribution. You must also have the ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity and discretion.

Additionally, you will have good communication skills and be able to prioritise your work independently, using your own initiative as appropriate. You will work autonomously and be accountable for your work.


Job Requirements:

  • Proactive management of allocated Curriculum events
  • Act as first point of contact and respond professionally to queries from parents, students and cross College colleagues and external agencies as appropriate
  • Administration support in College events including Parent evenings, Open evenings and Enrolment including collation and dissemination of information where required

The right candidate will have:

  • Comprehensive experience of administration (including Microsoft)
  • The ability to work at pace and multi-task
  • A logical approach to work, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education to a minimum of Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Previously managed situations tactfully with diplomacy
