We are looking for a teacher of Languages to teach Spanish across the full ability and age range including 'A' level and International Baccalaureate. The ability to teach another language is desirable.

This is an ideal opportunity for a new entrant to the profession although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague. We have a positive commitment to supporting Early Careers teachers and a comprehensive programme of staff development.

You will be joining a school which values the teaching of languages and a commitment to internationalism. The successful candidate would join our thriving team which is now a National hub for languages - one of 15 schools appointed to lead and develop language teaching nationally. This status means our department is at the forefront on language and teaching and ever developing our provision. All members of staff working at this school support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme.

The language department consistently achieves a positive progress 8 score. In 2023, Spanish students achieved GCSE result of 9-7 36%, 9-4 75% with a cohart of 117 students studying GCSE Spanish. A Level results *A-B 10% *A-E 100%, IB/Abinitio 7-5 75%, 7-3 100%.

The Anglo European School is an 11-18 comprehensive school, with a distinct international ethos and broad international curriculum, informed by the values of the International Baccalaureate.
